Bermudagrass is a low-growing, persistent, sod-forming turfgrass species in Tennessee lawns. It spreads by producing both below ground stems (rhizomes) and aboveground stems (stolons). This publication provides an introduction to bermudagrass species to assist homeowners in selecting the best variety for their lawn.
