The success of a fruit planting is highly dependent on the cultivars that are selected. Cultivar selection needs to consider the site, climate and conditions as well as pests and diseases that are likely to be encountered. This publication covers cultivar characteristics and suggestions for the southeast. Crops covered are blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, grapes, and muscadine grapes.
